I lately attended a western wedding ceremony and I was astonished at the beautiful spectacle. The bride and groom did a breathtaking job choosing stylish country motifs and decor for the special occasion. The first sign that the duo was having a country marriage ceremony was obvious in the invites. Wine was given out to the bride and bridegroom in an unusual way. There was a cowboy wine holder on the bridal table. The base of the wine holder was a horse-shoe and tied to the base was a cowboy made out of horseshoes as well. His metal arms were out-stretched to hold 4 wine glasses (that were adorned with running horses) and his bowed legs held the wine. There were country wedding songs playing while the wine was poured. This brilliant piece fit right in to the western marriage ceremony motif.

Possibly the most breathtaking element in the western marriage ceremony was the bride's magnificent gown. This dress had a small train and was enclosed in fine lace and pearls. It was in no way a ballroom gown but it radiated beauty. The bride looked out from beneath a tastefully decorated cowgirl hat adorned with a light veil. She was the crowning touch to the country wedding ceremony.
