A Female Engages In Excessive And Heavy Drinking And Gets Excellent Help At An Alcohol Rehab Clinic For Alcohol Withdrawal Symptoms And Alcoholism Symptoms

Beth was the mother of two children. Beth had been feeling very stressed out lately and started to "medicate" herself by having four or five glasses of wine each night after she put her children to bed. After about three weeks of this drinking routine, she at last understood the fact that instead of helping her calm down and deal with her problems, drinking made her feel more restless when she awakened. This, in turn, made her feel increasingly more stressed all through the day.

After thinking about her situation for a week or two, Beth decided to "open up" about her problem drinking with her best friend. In fact, approximately ten minutes into their chat, Beth's friend Courtney, told her that she knew about a very experienced and helpful doctor at the local drug and alcohol abuse treatment center. After talking to her best friend, Beth immediately got motivated to call the treatment center and make an appointment.

Eight days later she finally got to meet the physician her friend had talked about. After their short introduction, Beth explained to the psychiatrist that ever since she and her husband got divorced, she has been having an extremely difficult time financially, psychologically, and spiritually.

As Beth was talking to the physician, she emphasized the point that she really thought that Robert and she dated long enough to know each other well enough before they got married. After the kids started to arrive, however, their lives seemed to fall apart. To make mattes even worse, both she and Robert started to drink, and their hazardous drinking adversely impacted their finances, their relationship, and their love for one another.

The physician explained to Beth that the alcohol poisoning symptoms she has been experiencing are due to her careless drinking. The psychiatrist also told Beth that her alcohol withdrawal symptoms are some of the typical symptoms of alcoholism and that the most effective solution for this is alcohol rehab.

After spending three months in residential alcohol rehab, Beth was little by little able to see that the real source of her stress and her depression was the fact that she had not worked through her angry feelings she has expressed for her ex-husband who divorced her. In a word, Beth let these feelings upset her so much that she became an alcohol dependent person.

Armed with these insights and with the medications her doctor prescribed, she finally stopped drinking, she started to feel substantially less depressed, and she started scheduling time for social activities with her family and friends. What is more, a few months after getting rehab from her physician, she even started to date once again.

It was clear that Beth had certainly come a long way. In fact, just around five months after she completed her counseling, Beth had finally laid the harmful emotions of her former husband to rest and was beginning to feel more self worth and more spiritually "sound" and psychologically "together" than she had ever felt in her life.
